Es is a non-binary person. Having as a starting point Es’ history, from their life as a student in Istanbul and the discrimination they suffer every day, it is also possible to reconstruct the broader situation of LGBTI + movements. The pride manifestations were canceled by the government for the seventh year. We spoke to various movements that told us what it is like to carry out activism in hiding, and how their demonstrations are repressed every day, with activists being constantly intimidated or arrested.
